New ARU Classification System Explained
1 June 2025
The ARU classification system grades properties from A1 (fully compliant, zero risk) through to E (serious legal violations). Understanding your property's grade is the first step to making an informed purchase. Grade A means full urban compliance with all permits in order. Grade B indicates minor administrative issues that are easily resolved. Grade C flags moderate concerns requiring professional attention. Grades D and E signal significant legal risks that could affect property value or even ownership rights. Every buyer should request an ARU analysis before signing any contract.
